Lavender
Lavender is our newest home to join the ROC family of homes. The home is in the process of being registered with Ofsted.
Lavender offers residential care for children aged seven up to the age of 18 years old. Lavender is specially adapted to meet the needs of children with complex needs who require support to fulfil their potential.
Lavender offers a therapeutic and holistic experience to ensure all children’s needs are met. We have a diverse staff team who understand trauma and how this can impact children and their development.
We understand that children’s childhoods may differ, but in Lavender our aim is to be an inclusive home, that encompasses individuality, inclusivity and inspire all children to dream big and believe anything is possible!! We teach everyone Lavender’s coat of arms, which promotes our home ethos and commitments to the children and staff within our home.
Within our home we have a purpose built sensory room, a home gym and well being suite. Each child will have access to communal spaces within the home, and their own en suite bedroom, which we would love for them to personalise.
We encourage children to learn life skills, including roles and responsibilities around the home. We also have the opportunity to partner up with a local holding farm, where children can help care for the animals and take horse riding lessons or walk the donkeys around the land.
